Accomplishments/Awards
MCA has been recognized
many times over as a leader in the transportation industry
by its customers. Thoroughbred Direct Intermodal Services
(TDIS) recognized MCA with its “Quality Service Award” which
is presented to the company that provides 99% or above on-time
deliveries and goes above and beyond the standards to provide
transportation in emergency situations. We at MCA are especially
honored to receive this award, as the partnership with TDIS
is one of our first ventures into the freight and intermodal
arena.
The United States
Postal Service (USPS) has honored MCA with 7 Eagle Spirit
Awards, the mail contracting industry’s highest honor. Nomination
for an Eagle Spirit Award typically comes from local post
offices, based on quality service, dedication and leadership
in the industry. A limited number of awards are presented
each year, recognition with one is a coveted honor.
In addition to
Eagle Spirit Awards, MCA has been recognized by the USPS for
going “above and beyond” the call of duty by providing additional
service during natural disasters and emergency situations.
In addition, some local post offices have bestowed recognition
on specific routes for the exemplary service our Company has
provided.

Community Service
MCA is a leader in the community as well as in the transportation
industry. MCA participates in community service efforts to
support those in need around us. We sponsor a family each
Christmas through Mercy Franciscan at St. Raphael. Employees
gather donations of food and clothing for the selected homeless
family in an effort to make the holidays brighter. MCA supports
the USPS food drive by providing trailers for donation stations
and deliver the full trailers to the designated recipient
organizations. We also donate to the USPS’ annual charity
drive during the holidays. MCA also participates in the annual
“Cereal Drive” sponsored by the Arkansas Foodbank Network
and the “Angel Tree” program at Christmas, which benefits
troubled youth.
In the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, MCA supported
its freight customers by delivering supplies to victims on
the Gulf Coast. We assisted the USPS in shipping generators
and equipment to processing facilities that were disabled
by the storms, and the USPS called upon MCA to provide additional
trailers for storage.
